Dr. Asmu Bhattarai, MPT [OBG Physiotherapy]
Batch of 2021-2023 |
After working for 2 years following graduation, I was desperate to continue my further education. After looking into a number of universities and speaking with other seniors, I concluded that KLE would be the best option. Additionally, if I wanted to specialise in OBG physiotherapy, there is no better choice than KLE. Looking back, I believe that was the best choice I could have made for my academic career. My two years as a postgraduate student at KLE have moulded me into a superb professional. In this sense, academics play a unique role. Not to mention, the research experiences I gained at KLE will undoubtedly be useful to me in the future. I will always be appreciative of KLE for helping me become the researcher and clinician I am today.

Dr. Tenzing Norbu Lama, MPT ,NKT, COMT ,
Sr. NeuroPT consultant Chairman, CMC Chiropractic &Manual Therapy Center Pvt.Ltd. |
I was graduated with Bachelor in Physiotherapy degree from Bangalore. While I was seeking the best institute for my masters degree where I could utilize the best of my academic and clinical knowledge, KLE institute of physiotherapy, Belgaum turned out to be the best place because of its excellence in neurophysiotherapy field. I feel fortunate to claim the opportunity to be guided by well experienced and renowned professors. My academic experience was both challenging and rewarding. I was taught by passionate professors who genuinely care about helping student succeed. Regarding college, it had vibrant and supporting culture. Beside academic and clinical we had extra curriculum activities like conferences, workshops, sports and music. Well infrastructure and maximum clinical exposure along with all the world leading physiotherapy printed journals are the backbone of KIPT. Nevertheless, as of now being a physiotherapist professional, I do realize the quality education, guidance under the safer hands of experienced professors can groom our future very well. Thank you KIPT family and KLE University for wonderful credit for my future.

The faculty at KIPT were exceptional—dedicated, approachable, and always encouraging students to achieve their best. Their expertise and guidance not only deepened my understanding of physiotherapy but also instilled in me a passion for lifelong learning. The curriculum was comprehensive, blending theoretical knowledge with extensive practical exposure, which prepared me to face real-world challenges with confidence. Dr Ambrish Ashok Akre
2001-2005 batch, 2006-2008batch Geelong Melbourne, Australia |
The journey which began in 2001 “the millennium plus batch” as we were called was the most treasured moment of all our lives. One of the favorite batch of our staff, we began on 3rd October 2001 of the then KLE jnmc department of physiotherapy under the blessings of the most knowledgeable and respected teachers late Dr MG mokshi sir. Blessed with an infrastructure which is the best in the country and equally hard working and knowledgeable staff, I consider myself fortunate to have done my bachelors in physiotherapy and masters of musculoskeletal physiotherapy here under the RGUHS university then. Being a home for me for 7 years between 2001-2008 and acquired meticulous and divine skills, I started my teaching career as an academician in 2008 and have myself been an active teacher and guide for over a thousand students. Had it not been for the immense knowledge I acquired at KLE , I could not have passed my skills to my students and treat my patients. My 10 years professional career in academics which has now led me to a career as a clinical senior associate physiotherapist in geriatrics in Australia since since January 2018 to present day is blessing imparted upon me by my esteemed teachers. I cannot thank KLE family enough and would recommend the college to one and all across the globe. Many thanks. Kind regard.
